My definition of success
What does it mean to be successful in music?
To me, here are the conditions to be successful as a musician.
To be able to express oneself through the medium of music.
To be proud of the music I have produced.
Having an audience who appreciates and is moved by the music I have created.
The number of people is not that important, I am not looking for fame or anything like that.
Recognition from peers is something that is nice but not mandatory.
When I have finished a gig and someone comes to me and says “thank you for the music”, it really gives me a sense of accomplishment.
